i'm glad you have roses now... yep, i can smell them... hmmm... how wonderfully delicate... and they're very beautiful...
someone told me to bury some garlic bulbs near the roses' "feet"... they would intensify the scent... i haven't tried it though... but i'll do it this year :)
Roses are a favorite at our house, too. Those are simply gorgeous.

Love the roses. And the glimpse at the greenery of NC. Oh! You don't know how I miss that place!
How lovely! I love roses. I ripped all of ours out last year, they didn't get enough sun and were always covered in black spots. I noticed this week that one has reappeared. I think I'll just find a new home for it.
