For a snow day, this one has been quite exciting! Our last big snow like this was in 2000. We had a small one in 2004, but for the most part this is the first time in years that we've had enough to actually go out and play in.
My kids are loving their time playing in it. Unfortunately, we are only equipped with cloth gloves and no snow pants so they keep having to change clothes. My dryer is working overtime today.
The air is brisk, cool and feels very clean. It truly is a breath of fresh air this winter day.
We watched the Inauguration in between hot cocoa and lunch.
Rick Warren rocked that prayer. Aretha's hat spoke for itself and Yo-Yo Ma and company were simply divine. My heart broke for Bush and is hopeful for Obama. He can deliver one inspiring speech. My prayer is that he will fill those inspirational shoes.

I am so jealous of all of the snow. We have not gotten snow in so long I forgot what it looks like :(
As far as the whole inauguration stuff I have to get behind our new President and I am praying that GOD will lead and guide him.
It was soooo cold today! Totally not worth it if there's no snow!
LOL - I could see Aretha's hat from where I live. What was she thinking?
The snow looks so fun. We've had dustings...not enough to do anything.
