Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.
It's Not Me! that has not blogged for almost a week now. I have two main hobbies: blogging and gardening. Gardening is pretty intense here in NC for the month of April and May and I just don't have time to do both. At this point, my gardening budget is dwindling, though. So, I'm not planting as much now. It was Not Me! that found the most amazing plant this weekend at our Farmer's Market - a yellow - Sunny Knock-Out rose bush! Yay! I've been waiting for yellow. I'll try to get some pictures up later this week.
It's Not Me! that has also been reading (almost obsessively) a little book about a girl and her vampire boyfriend. Honestly, y'all. I tried very hard not to get this book because I knew I would read it cover to cover in a couple days instead of doing more important things like laundry and sleeping. Then my friend shoved them in my hands and told me to just read them. Okay, then.
It's Not Me! that is so tired this morning and it's definitely NOT Me! that is anxiously waiting for the moment I can pick it back up again.
It's Not Me! that gave a talk about friendship to a group of MOPS moms last week. It went really well. It was definitely Not Me! that waited until the last minute to put the finishing touches on it. I don't know why I do that but it really seems like a project does not come together for me until there is pressure. I think this has something to do with my personality type.
It's Not Me! that followed the Compassion Bloggers on their trip to India all last week, cried at almost all of their posts and rejoiced in the Hope that they saw in the sponsored kids. I cannot imagine how their lives must be so impacted. It does my mind good to know that by sponsoring a Compassion child, I am making a difference. And you can, too!
It's Not Me that has to take my sweet B in for a test this week that involves a catheter to determine the cause of her UTI's. It's Not Me that had to take her to the dentist last week to have 2 cavities filled. Poor girl.
It's Not Me! that has a Mother's Day Brunch at my Bubby's school this week, too. I can't wait to see all the preschool projects he has been working on for a week or so. He tells me every day after school when I pick him up lately, "It's a surprise, Mom."
It's Not Me! that enjoyed my husband's cooking twice this weekend! What a treat to not have to cook on the weekends because he loves to grill. AND he cleaned up the kitchen, gave the kids baths AND put them to bed. Lucky girl, I am.
It's Not Me! that has about 10 loads of laundry to do today, needs to take a walk, pay some bills and make the beds. So, It's Not Me that is signing off now. Happy Monday everyone!

You've been busy! Can't wait to see pics of your gardening work. I hope your little girl feels better soon - that's no fun for her or you. I'm quite excited for Mother's Day too. I keep hearing about surprises - the best gifts are the ones they make.
Yes. It is also 'Not Me' who said "I'm not going to read that" book series 'Not Me' who read the 1st one in <48hrs and definitely 'Not Me' who just flew thru #4 so fast she is now rereading it just to pick up the parts she missed! ") (#4 is the best!)
And so 'Not Me' who is wasting time on this computer instead of cleaning her house...
sorry to hear B has to have testing. Our prayers are with you. Millie just saw our Duke peds urologist for hopefully the last time ever this spring. Has been uti free for a long time now.
Thought you were done with roses?;)
