Loves Books, Will Travel with them

This was my sweet B when she was almost 2. It was taken over 5 years ago!

It just amazes me how fast time flies.

Everyone said it would.
It does, indeed.

She heads back to school on Monday. She loves school and is excited. (me, too - snif snif)

She used to take this backpack, stuff it with books and carry them everywhere with her to "read" when she had a minute.

She still does this. Except now it is just one book. Whatever chapter book she is in at the moment.

It is scary how quickly they grow and I am trying to document it all! I am constantly being told by my inlaws I should tape record my daughter and play it back when she gets married of how much she jabbers at 18 months now. Cruel.

A lot of Sincerely 'Fro participants posted about their babies not being babies. It's a conspiracy, I swear.

I said on another blog & I'll say it again here. I've found a solution to this problem. I'm going to keep having babies one right after another until I die so I'll never be sad when they grow up.
I mean, I know my only child is already 8 and I'm still not pregnant but once I get that straightened out, it's baby, baby, baby for the rest of my years.

My kids LOVE books and I hope they always will. I despise them myself!

That's a blessing! Reading will be a love that she can carry her whole life!

Be blessed.

My youngest will be 8 in a couple months, and he is the same way about books! Cute photo.

Great post! My 'Fro Me to You was about how fast they grow up, too!
