I am a dog LOVER.
But I am seriously undecided on this being the new First Dog for Obama's girls. They need a fuzzy, soft, furry dog.
I am thinking a mutt is really the most "American" choice. Of course, Obama is all about changing things up, so it might be the right choice for them. With the allergy thing I can understand. We have the same problem.
So do what we did, GET A MALTESE! They are hypo-allergenic with HAIR.
Just try to train it not to pee in the oval office. They like oriental rugs for some reason.

Yikes! I couldn't have one of those dogs--I barely remember to put lotion and sunscreen on myself much less a dog!
Are you kidding me? Seriously are they really thinking about this kind of dog? Talk about U-G-L-Y he ain't got no alibi the dog's ugly yeah yeah it's ugly. Sorry, I agree something furry and cute.
Girl - I'm all about dogs with HAIR - not FUR. They don't shed and are hypoallergenic.
I love my 23 lb poodle, Lola. As for the Obama dog...WHO CARES??!!
