Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy
Thanksgiving!

This is the first year in a long time we have not been with extended family. Each year we have many members of both our families at our home or we travel out of town to their homes. It is always such a festive time.

This past year has been sort of crazy for our little family of four. Without going into detail, I can say we have been stretched and changed. It has definitely been a year of growth.

Looking back, even through the difficulties, I can honestly say it has only been full of God's amazing blessings.

So, we decided this year to take the time off at Thanksgiving to just spend together- at home.

I must admit that while I miss the joyful chaos of cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents it is also nice to just nestle in with my sweet family.

So, we are baking a small turkey, pumpkin pie, stuffing and even carrot souffle! (my Favorite)
Playing our new Wii and catching up on some Scrapbooking. It is even warm enough to do a little yard work.

I am so thankful for this husband and two kids. Thankful for our parents, brothers and sisters in law and all the cutie pie nieces and nephews.

Thankful for this life.

I hope your day is full of blessings!
