Lego Mom

My son got A LOT of Legos for Christmas.  Since he got to stay up until Midnight on New Year's Eve he spent most of the night building various things with his new toys.  This was my favorite, of course.

He built me.  With a sombrero and a flower.  Actually, he says that is my hair with a flower.     His only request was that I place this on my nightstand.   No problem,  Buddy.  I'll save it forever.  Or until you need those little arm thingies as antennae for another project.

I love when they just build on their own. You're looking good! Love the flower in your hair.

Hey, if you need a project, I've got the perfect one. Right before Christmas, I took an old table we had in the basement to paint and glue on, I stripped the top and then glued 2 four paks of Lego plates (Education 4 kids, $27.99 each set)to the top with Liquid Nails for plastic. WaLa a full size lego table for under $50.00! Perfect place to build and display those cute little whatcha ma jiggies.

My Kids both got lots of Lego's this year too. Although they have played Lego's for most they're life, its been mostly a "with Daddy" activity.

On Christmas and the day after I helped The Girl build a Medievel market and a condo...and it took ALL DAY!

Hope your New Year is going great!

My boys just love the Lego blocks. We have so many they are actually in rotation. They purchase them with birthday money, allowance and such. They still play with their little brothers duplos, always building something new and interesting. I love seeing their imaginations come out when they sit down with their legos.
