Blogging Break

Hello out there!
I've been kind of...well...absent from my blog lately.
It's a little intentional actually.
And a little not.

What I'm about to do is very intentional, though and something I need.  I've been blogging for almost 3 years now. Wow - can't believe that!

I just need a little sabbatical.  It may be the death of my blog and while I hope not, I'm also okay with that.  I just need to re-focus a bit and take a little media break.  I've been spending too much time at my computer and not just with blogging.

Anyway, I'm hoping some time away will help me with the re-focusing part. Or it just might take having this baby - who knows?   Only time will tell.

I read last night that sometimes the only way to tell the difference in God's voice or your own desire is to just follow the prompting you feel.    After you do it, you may be able to see if it was God leading you or not.  After time, it's easier to know ahead of time.   I felt prompted to take this break.  We will just have to see how it goes.

Blessings to each and every one of you.   Have an amazing Easter holiday.  See you soon.

Enjoy your time away, good for you for listening to the prompting you feel. I recently have found myself on the computer way too much, so this past week I announced on facebook I was going to "unplug" from Palm Sunday through Easter Sunday. So I have 55 minutes left before I sign off. Happy Easter!

Though I will miss reading your posts, I completely understand your need for a break. I hope your bloggy break will give you time to focus on the things that you truly love.

Also, I am so very thankful that I get to see you in person so I won't have to miss you too much! :)

Will miss reading your daily posts, but I know you will feel inspired to write from time to time. Keep in touch.

I will miss you but admire your listening to the prompting of the Holy Spirit. I'll look forward to hearing later about the baby!

Totally understand. You need time to focus on you, family, baby and the Lord.
I'll miss reading the blog, but look forward to still getting to see you!

Good call- when we lay everything at his feet it gives him the chance to pick up that which he wants us to keep.
I am sure you will be blessed for obeying the prompting.
Blessings,
Rebekah

I was part of the week, and missed this.
We each need to step back, unplug and find our place. I hope you will be back to blogging, as I appreciate you, but I understand.

Wishing your family a blessed Easter!

Completely understood. It's been almost 3 years for me and I find myself going online only 3 or 4 times a week instead of every second of the day.
